The Freshly Forked has more than 40 years of food service experience. With extensive research we’ve created unique menus, mouthwatering signature sauces, salad dressings and salsas. At The Freshly Forked everything is prepared locally in our Jacksonville Beach kitchen.
The basic principle at The Freshly Forked: whenever hunger strikes, grab one of our delicious fully cooked meals, pop it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, and enjoy your healthy, perfectly portioned, stress free meal!
Our meal prep kitchen starts with all natural ingredients. We’ve done away with the additives
and hormones found in most foods today. Our vision is to create a solution for the busy person who cares about what they eat and how they feel. We’ve designed delicious options for gluten free, low carb, vegetarian and vegan meals for weight loss and specific health goals. Our Traditional meals provide a healthy and convenient option for today’s busy lifestyle. Every meal is offered in a variety of sizes that include small, large, extra-large and family size.
Our intent: take the worry and stress of shopping, cooking and cleaning out of your hands.
**No dining facilities are available at our pick-up store.
3. Ask us about our meal plan subscriptions. Plans are based on 5 meals, 10 meals, 15 meals and 21 meals with a 4 week commitment.
4. All food is free of preservatives; additionally most meals are free of glutens, sugars and dairy. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available on request. We purchase locally and organically when available. All menu items are original recipes and everything is homemade and fresh each week.
5. Meals come in 4 sizes: small, large, extra-large and family size.
Small — contains approximately 10-14 oz with 4 oz of that being protein.
Large — contains approximately 15-20 oz with 6 oz of that being protein.
Extra-large — contains approximately 20-24 oz with 8 oz of that being protein.
Family — contains approximately 2-3# with 16 oz of that being protein (family size is based on 4).
6. Sticking to a gluten free, low carb or portioned diet will help with weight loss, inflammation, and many other health concerns.
7. VEGETARIANS & VEGANS — Many of our meals can be made to suit your specific diet. Salsas are vegetarian, vegan & Paleo. All salad dressings and sauces are compatible with a vegetarian diet and some with a vegan diet.
8. Macros are listed on each meal.
9. No minimum orders for in-store pick-up.

12. Meal plans:
Small plan consists of 21 meals — 7 breakfasts, 14 lunch/dinners. (Price based on shrimp, beef, chicken etc)
Large plan consists of 21 meals — 7 breakfasts, 14 lunch/dinners. (Price based on shrimp, beef, chicken etc)
13. The Freshly Forked hours of operation are: Mon 10 am - 6 pm; Tues 10 am - 4 pm; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we are closed. Orders can be placed online and picked up in store at 1237 Penman Road, Jacksonville Beach. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance.
14. Meals must can be kept in fridge (37-40 degrees). We suggest freezing at least 1/2 of your meals, to insure freshness and quality. Freezing will not alter the taste or quality of the food.
15. Heating meals in the microwave: refrigerated meals 2.5 - 3.5 minutes. Frozen meals -- 3.5 - 5 minutes.
16. Suggestions for storing and keeping your meals. Chicken and pork -- 4 days, if refrigerated (not frozen). Beef -- 4 days, if refrigerated (not frozen). Egg dishes -- 3 days, if refrigerated (not frozen).
17. CATERING — We cater for groups of 100 or more, with minimums on all hors d’oeuvres.
18. Join our email list and we will send you a reminder:
Friday evening, with an order deadline of Sunday at 8 pm, for Monday pick-up, between 4 pm - 6 pm.
Included in the email is the MENU from which we are ordering and other information that may be important to orders.
